Helping people avoid the devastation of a home fire.
Sadly, fires are America's largest disaster. Locally, the Greater Chicago Red Cross responds to more than 1,000 home fires every year. Many of these fires could have been prevented. Our Team Firestopper program addresses this growing problem by engaging our community about fire safety and prevention.
Team Firestopper conducts home-hazard hunts and safety seminars and equips residents with fire-safety and emergency-preparedness products so they are ready in the event of a fire. To find out more about upcoming Team Firestopper events, call (312) 729-6255.
