What is the Aquatic Examiner Service? The Aquatic Examiner Service is a quality-assurance program designed to help facility managers and lifeguards ensure they are prepared at the highest level of service. There are three levels of involvement. Facilities can choose the level(s) that are right for them. Lifeguards do not need to be American Red Cross-trained to participate in the service, although they will be tested according to American Red Cross standards.
